On April 18th, 2025, the Amahoro Stadium parking was once again alive with energy as young talents from across the country came together for the 4th stage of the Youth Racing Cup. Among the standout performers were the determined and powerful girls of the LWD Cycling Team, who raced their hearts out and brought home impressive results.

Gwiza, competing in the U13 Benjamins category, secured 3rd place with a strong finish time of 18 minutes and 28.68 seconds. Her performance reflects the rising potential of our youngest riders and the future of women’s cycling in Rwanda.

In the U15 Minimes category, Emelyne also took 3rd place, showing incredible consistency and drive, crossing the finish line at 28 minutes and 06.10 seconds. Her focus and effort continue to inspire her teammates and young girls looking up to her.

Amina, racing in the highly competitive U17 Cadets category, impressed everyone by earning 2nd place with an outstanding time of 43 minutes and 06.74 seconds. Amina’s discipline and power are a true reflection of the spirit of LWD Cycling Team—bold, focused, and unstoppable.

These girls are not only winning races—they are paving the way for the next generation of female cyclists. At LWD, we believe in giving girls the chance to rise, compete, and lead. And on this race day, they reminded us once again:

Go, go, go girls the sky is no longer the limit!
